Ingredients for Jalebi
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup curd
oil or ghee (for frying)
A plastic squeezing bottle
Food color (optional)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 tsp saffron (optional)
Method:
To start, combine all-purpose flour and curd to make a dense batter. Note: Jalebi batter should not be too thin or too thick.
If needed, you can also add water to it. Add a pinch of food color
Leave it for about six to seven hours to ferment. Once the batter pulp becomes lumpy and froth appears on top then keep it aside.

Now we have to prepare the sugar syrup before frying the jalebi. So to prepare the syrup you need to Mix water, sugar, and saffron and make syrup on low flame. Make sure that the sugar syrup will be boiled on low flame so that it and once the syrup starts leaving strings, remove it from the flame and cool it slightly.
Now for frying the jalebis, take a deep pan. Pour oil or ghee into frying the jalebi.
Pour the prepared batter into the squeezing bottle and squeeze the barter in a jalebi shape into the oil. Cook on medium flame. Flip over.
Finally, when the jalebis turn light brown in color from both sides, take them out. Put in sugar syrup and let them soak in sugar syrup for about a minute. Take it out and serve it hot.
