Ingredients required:
500 grams of boneless chicken cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
2 tablespoons cornstarch or cornflour
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (maida)
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
Salt to taste - Oil for frying
Curry leaves and lemon wedges for garnishing
Method:
1. In a mixing bowl, add chicken pieces, ginger garlic paste, cornstarch, all-purpose flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well and marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes.
2. In a deep frying skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
3. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken pieces and fry until golden brown and crispy.
4. Take out the chicken pieces from the oil and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
5. Now add 2spoons of curry leaves to it and saute. Add the fried chicken pieces and sauté for a minute.
6. Serve hot, garnished with curry leaves and lemon wedges.
