Fish Curry Recipe

 


Ingredients Required: 

500g king fish 

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 onion, chopped

1 tsp garlic paste

1 tsp ginger paste

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp garam masala

1 can of chopped tomatoes

Salt to taste

Water as required

Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Method: 

1. Add onions to a pan with little oil and fry the onions until brown. 

2. Add the garlic and ginger paste and fry for another minute. 3. Add the cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook for 2 minutes.

4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. 

5. Add the fish fillets, salt, and enough water to just cover the fish.

6. Gently simmer for 10-12 minutes until the fish is cooked through.

7. Top it with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
