Tomato Soup Recipe




Ingredients Required:

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 onion, chopped

4 garlic cloves, minced

¾ teaspoon of salt

¼ teaspoon of black pepper

2 cans of whole peeled tomatoes, undrained

2 cups of vegetable broth

1 teaspoon of dried oregano

1 teaspoon of dried basil

2 bay leaves

⅓ cup of heavy cream

Method:

1. pour little oil onto the pan. Stirring periodically, add the onion and garlic, and cook until soft.

2. Add the salt and pepper, and stir.

3. Add the tomato paste, veggie broth, basil, bay leaves, oregano, and oregano. Bring to a boil.

4. Reduce the heat and let simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Remove the bay leaves and let the soup cool slightly.

6. Pour the soup into a mixer or use an immersion blender to puree it.

7. Stir in the heavy cream and heat gently until warmed through.

8. Serve and enjoy!
