Vanilla pudding is a sweet, creamy dessert made from milk, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. It can be served warm or cold and is often used as a filling for pies, cakes, and pastries.
Ingredients required:
2/3 cups of sugar
cornstarch- 2 tbspoon
Salt -1/8 tsp
Milk- 2 cups
egg yolks- 2 large, barely beaten
softened butter- 2 teaspoons
vanilla - 2 tablespoons

Method:
Salt, cornstarch, and sugar are combined in a 2-quart pot. Stir in milk gradually. Stirring continuously, cook the liquid over medium heat until it thickens and boils. Stir and boil for one minute.
Egg yolks should be gradually mixed with at least half of the heated mixture before being stirred back into the hot mixture in the pan. Boil and whisk for one minute, then turn off the heat. Add vanilla and butter and stir.
Put custard in serving bowls. In the refrigerator, cover and marinade for about an hour. Store lidded in the refrigerator.
